Security Commitment

How we vet, train, supervise, and safeguard what's entrusted to us.

Last updated: August 2026

Our Commitment

Security is the foundation of everything we do. This page sets out the standards and safeguards we hold ourselves to — for the people, property, and information entrusted to us — and applies alongside our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Code of Ethics.

Personnel Vetting & Training

Every officer is vetted and trained to Private Security Regulatory Authority (PSRA) standards before deployment. Vetting includes verification of identity, background checks, and confirmation of the legal right to work as a security officer in Kenya.

New recruits complete a structured pre-deployment training programme covering guarding procedures, use of equipment, customer service, and emergency response, followed by a supervised induction period at their assigned site, with ongoing refresher training throughout their service.

Supervision & Accountability

Mobile supervisors conduct scheduled spot-checks on deployed guards throughout each shift, day and night, so accountability does not depend on a single unsupervised post. Supervisors are responsible for verifying guard presence, alertness, and adherence to site-specific instructions, and for escalating any deficiency immediately.

Technology & Monitoring

Our control room operates 24/7, coordinating alarm response and rapid-response units. Where deployed, our CCTV, guard-tour monitoring, alarm, and vehicle-tracking systems are maintained as part of the contracted service.

Physical & Digital Security Controls

Beyond guarding operations, we apply layered controls to our own information systems: access to client site information and personnel records is restricted to staff with a legitimate operational need, our control room and administrative systems are access-controlled, and equipment such as radios, vehicles, and surveillance hardware is tracked and accounted for. We expect the same discipline of any subcontractor or supplier engaged on our behalf.

Incident Response

Where a security incident occurs at a client site, our control room coordinates an immediate response, escalates to the relevant supervisor and, where appropriate, to law enforcement, and ensures the client is notified promptly. See our Incident Reporting Policy for how operational incidents are reported, escalated, and recorded.

Business Continuity

Our control room, supervisory network, and rapid-response coordination are structured so that no single point of failure interrupts service to a client site. We maintain redundancy in supervisory coverage and communication channels so that guarding operations continue even if an individual officer, vehicle, or communication link is unavailable.

Confidential Handling of Client Information

Information we hold about a client's premises, personnel, or incidents — including site assessments and incident reports — is treated as confidential and is only shared with the client, our staff on a need-to-know basis, or where legally required. See our Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled, and our Investigations & Confidentiality Policy for how incident inquiries are handled.

Insurance & Regulatory Standing

We are licensed by Kenya's Private Security Regulatory Authority and are a member of the Private Security Industry Association. We maintain Work Injury Benefits (WIBA) / Group Personal Accident, employer's and contractual liability, fidelity guarantee, professional indemnity, and public liability cover.

Continuous Improvement

We periodically review site risk assessments, incident patterns, and client feedback to identify where guarding procedures, technology deployment, or training content should be strengthened, and we update our training curriculum and site instructions accordingly.
