Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

This statement sets out Masterfound Security Group's position on modern slavery and human trafficking. Kenya does not currently impose a statutory reporting duty equivalent to the UK's Modern Slavery Act 2015 or similar legislation in other jurisdictions, and this statement is not published to comply with such a law. We publish it voluntarily, because forced labour and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chain, and because some of the clients and partners we work with may expect this kind of statement as a matter of good practice.

Masterfound Security Group is a Kenyan-registered private security company, established in 2017 and headquartered in Nakuru, providing manned guarding and related security services across Kenya and, for some clients, regionally across Africa.

We do not use forced, bonded, or trafficked labour in any part of our operations, and we expect the same standard from any subcontractor, agency, or supplier engaged on our behalf. All personnel are recruited directly, engaged on the basis of a lawful employment contract, and are free to leave their employment on reasonable notice.

Our existing recruitment vetting — covering identity verification and the legal right to work as a security officer in Kenya — also serves as a first line of defence against forced labour or trafficking entering our workforce. Where we engage subcontractors, we expect them to apply comparable safeguards.

Supervisors and management are made aware of the indicators of forced labour and trafficking as part of our broader commitment to ethical employment, so that any concern can be identified and escalated.

Anyone with a concern that forced labour or trafficking may be occurring in connection with our business — including within a subcontractor or supplier — is encouraged to report it through our Whistleblower Policy.
