Health & Safety Policy

Our approach to workplace health and safety.

Last updated: August 2026

Purpose

This policy sets out our approach to protecting the health and safety of our personnel, clients, and members of the public affected by our operations, in line with Kenya's Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2007.

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing a safe working environment for our officers and to conducting our operations in a way that does not put clients or the public at unreasonable risk, so far as is reasonably practicable.

Responsibilities

Management is responsible for setting safe working procedures and providing the equipment and training needed to follow them. Supervisors are responsible for enforcing safe practice on site. Officers are responsible for following site instructions, using provided equipment correctly, and reporting hazards. Clients are asked to disclose known site hazards and maintain a safe environment for deployed officers, as described in our Client Responsibilities page.

Risk Assessment

Sites are assessed for relevant risks before and during deployment, and staffing, equipment, and procedures are adjusted accordingly. Where a new hazard is identified during an engagement, we review and, where necessary, adjust the arrangement with the client.

Training & Equipment

Officers receive training relevant to the hazards they may encounter, including basic first aid and fire-safety awareness, and are issued the equipment appropriate to their deployment.

Incident Reporting

Any workplace injury, near-miss, or safety concern must be reported immediately through our Incident Reporting Policy, so that we can respond and prevent recurrence.
