Client Responsibilities

What we ask of clients so our officers and systems can operate safely and effectively.

Last updated: August 2026

Purpose

Effective security is a shared responsibility. This page sets out what we generally ask of clients so that our officers and systems can operate safely and effectively at your site. It is a general guide; the specific responsibilities of any client are set out in their signed service agreement.

Accurate Site & Contact Information

Clients are asked to provide accurate information about their site, personnel, access arrangements, and emergency contacts, and to promptly notify us of any changes — such as a new authorised contact, altered operating hours, or a change in the risks present at the site.

Safe Access & Working Conditions

Clients are responsible for ensuring that deployed officers have safe, lawful access to the site and any facilities reasonably necessary to perform their duties, and for disclosing any known hazards on the premises.

Prompt Incident Reporting

Clients are asked to report any incident, concern, or change in circumstances affecting site security promptly through the agreed channel, so that we can respond, escalate, or adjust deployment as needed. See our Incident Reporting Policy.

Cooperation During Investigations

Where an incident requires investigation, we ask clients to cooperate reasonably — for example, by preserving relevant records or footage and making relevant staff available — consistent with our Investigations & Confidentiality Policy.

Compliance with Applicable Law

Clients are expected to ensure that their own site operations comply with applicable Kenyan law, and to inform us of any specific regulatory requirements that apply to their premises and may affect how security services are delivered there.

Contractual & Payment Obligations

Service scope, staffing levels, equipment, pricing, and payment terms are set out in each client's signed service agreement. Clients are responsible for meeting the payment and other obligations agreed in that document; this page does not modify or substitute for it.
